Best way to find people for a group locally?

Pathfinder General Discussion

Currently, I'm looking for a group to play in real life in the Baltimore region. I've used NextDoor.com and tried to comb through Discord for servers. I'm about to try forming a Meetups.com group. Does anyone else have suggestions of where to post/look?

Be sure you ask your local gaming store if they have a "gamer connection" webpage or in-store bulletin board.

The primary gaming connection site seems to be Warhorn, so you might post there as well.

Pathfinder Pathfinder Accessories, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game, Starfinder Society Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

After moving to a new state, I posted an ad on the corkboard at my FLGS and was in a group two weeks later. We've been playing for five years now.

FLGS?

Friendly Local Gaming Store

The brick-and-mortar location where people buy gaming supplies. Sometimes they host games; sometimes they have a bulletin board where people can post "looking for a game" notices or "looking for players" notices.

Okay cool thanks. For future reference, posting on Meetup.com seems like the way to go so far.
