I bought a copy of the hardcover and am searching frantically for the maps that the book keys to, but I don't see them anywhere... Was there supposed to be a fold-out map with the hardcover? Or am I simply missing the keyed maps?

The keyed maps, including the layout of the zones, appears on pages 56–57 of the hardcover. Note that there's an error with the tags for areas RL4 and RL5, which got accidentally swapped in position.
The keyed maps for this was one of the LAST things that was finalized before the book went to print—had we had even a few more days I think I would have pushed to have those locations reprinted on the full-page maps in the back of the book, but there just wasn't time to do that, alas.
